Do you believe that heart-healthy food cannot be healthy and yummy? Do you want to make changes to manage or improve your health? Are you overwhelmed with conflicting information and unsure who to believe or what to do?

I can help you! 

I am a registered and licensed dietitian who is a nutrition coach and counselor. I believe that food can be easy, delicious, and healthy. I combine the science of nutrition and health management with coaching and counseling techniques to help you bring healthy, flavorful food to your table.

As a heart attack survivor, my passion and expertise is heart-healthy nutrition. I can help you with weight loss or maintenance, lowering your blood pressure, changing your cholesterol levels, or managing your blood sugar levels. I’m also an expert on heart-healthy eating plans such as vegetarian/vegan, low sodium, Mediterranean, and the DASH diet.

If you want to make a heart-healthy change, I am licensed by the State of  Florida to provide both individual nutrition coaching and medical nutrition therapy. I can help you be successful in a healthy way – both emotionally and nutritionally.

  1. Thanks! Yes… it has been difficult. And the hardest part has been convincing my friends that it’s not their cooking but the eggs and milk they put into their foods is the reason I can’t eat some of the things they cook. And to add to that my grandmother makes homemade banana bread with milk and eggs in it; I don’t have the heart to tell her I can’t eat it, so I just wrap it up and take it home.

      • You’re welcome! About a year ago, I found out that I was allergic to eggs and milk– and that of course drove me away from most processed foods. So I basically started eating foods that I either grew or packaged foods with few ingredients.

      • That sounds like a challenge – I’m sure you discovered that that eggs and milk are in a lot of foods/products! It sounds like you rose to that challenge though! I bet it feels good to know that you can change your eating habits and feel better. I’m a big believer in eating clean, minimally processed foods. Way to go!
