About Alexia Lewis, RD
Alexia is not your typical dietitian/health coach. She has been struggling with her weight since her teen years, and at 38, she survived a heart attack.
She realized that she didn’t know how to cook a proper meal or what to do after cardiac rehab ended, so she dove down the rabbit hole of education to learn how to avoid the BS, then became a coach to help others and, well, to keep herself honest.
Alexia has coached, counseled, cooked, learned, and laughed alongside thousands of people to improve their nutrition and lifestyle habits, break their food rules, and shut down their inner critic to improve their health and weight.
Today, she helps others honor their health without sacrificing their sanity through her unique way of cutting through the confusion to focus on what really matters with lots of support, tough love, and laughter.
This book combines Alexia’s story as a heart attack survivor with her health professional expertise and experience counseling thousands of people over more than 10 years. The result is a comprehensive yet simple heart-healthy lifestyle guide. She hopes to inspire, educate, and entertain people around the topic of how to live a heart-healthy lifestyle.
